1. Introduction:
In Chinese Poker or other name: Sab Sam, each player receives 13 cards from a standard 52-card deck (from A to K). The number of people playing Chinese Poker is from 2 to 4 people. Each player then has to divide their cards into three poker hands (2 hands of five cards and 1 hand of three cards): the Front Hand (3 cards), the Middle Hand (5 cards), the Back Hand (5 cards), so that the 13 cards hand which is arranged in increasing order: first hand<middle hand <last hand.
Especially in Chinese Poker only consider the rank, not the suit of the cards.
2. How to Play Chinese Poker

2. How to Play Chinese Poker

• Triple: 3 cards of the same rank
• Pair: 2 of 3 cards of the same rank
• Triple: 3 cards of the same rank
• Pair: 2 of 3 cards of the same rank
• Trash: all the cards are different
The Middle Hand and the Last Hand set each have 5 cards.
• Straight Flush: 5 cards of the same suit forming a consecutive sequence
• Straight Flush: 5 cards of the same suit forming a consecutive sequence
• Four of a kind: 4 cards of the rank and an extra card.
• Full House: 3 cards of the same rank, and 2 remaining cards also of same different rank.
• Flush: 5 cards of the same suit.
• Pair: a pairs of cards with the same rank and 3 extra cards
• Straight: 5 cards forming a consecutive sequence
• Three of a Kind: 3 cards of the same rank and 2 extra cards
• Two Pairs: 2 pairs of cards with the same rank and 1 extra card
• Pair: a pairs of cards with the same rank and 3 extra cards
• Trash: all cards have different rank, and not all have the same suit.
b. Chinese Poker Rules
How to compare 3 Hands:
- The system will display all the cards of the members on the table and calculate the amount of money, the amount of win and lose of each opponent.
1 Hand = the amount of the bet in the game.
- The cards of the players will be compared with each other according to the rules of the game.
- When comparing these cards, we will compare the two First-Hand together, the two Middle-Hand together, and the two Back-Hand together. If a player beats another player in all of the Three Hands or a scoop, he or she gets a three-point bonus.
- Winners: there are more total wins than the competitors in the game when compared.
- Losers: there are more total losses than the competitors in the game when compared.
c. Some special cases (Chinese Poker)
*13 unique cards (i.e. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A) known as a Dragon
- All 13 cards of same suit, win 13*bets
- All black (or all red) cards, win 13*bets
- 12 black cards and 1 red (or 12 red cards and 1 black), win 3*bets
- 6 Pairs, win 3*bets from each other player.
- 3 Flushes (i.e. the middle and bottom are flushes, and the top is trash resembling a flush), win 3*bets
- 3 Straights (i.e. the middle and bottom are straights, and the top is trash resembling a straight), win 3*bets
If a player makes Three Flushes or Three Straights - they automatically win the hand, regardless of the other players' hands. As shown in the photo, the Middle player has made all Three Hands Flush and is an automatic winner.
Notes:
- For every 1 A (Aces), each player plays 1 Hand. If there are a Four of a kind of A, it is not counted as 4 Hand because it is used in Special Cases Law. Scores: A (Aces) will be added to the end of the match after calculating all steps above.
For example: A wins B with 3 Hands, then by law x2 A wins B with 6 Hands. But B has 2 A (Aces) so -2. Results: A wins B with 4 Hands.
- Getting scooped (losing all three hands): is the case a player loses 3 Hands compared to others.
